Sisi Zlatanova

Professor Sisi Zlatanova is the President of ISPRS Technical Commission IV on Spatial Information Science. She plays an active leadership role in several prominent conferences, including Gi4DM, SDSC, 3D GeoInfo, and Indoor3D, all organised under the umbrella of ISPRS. She is also actively involved in standardisation activities within OGC, ISO, and Standards Australia.
Professor Zlatanova joined the University of New South Wales in 2018, where she leads the GRID Lab. Her research focuses on 3D spatial modelling and management, as well as the application of Artificial Intelligence and Large Language Models for analysis, simulation, and prediction within Digital Twins.She obtained her degree in surveying, photogrammetry, and cartography from UACEG, Bulgaria, and completed her PhD at TU Graz, Austria. Throughout her career, she has held academic positions at UACEG, ITC, TU Delft, Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technologies (SSUGT), Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA), and RMIT University.

Petra Helmholz

Dr Petra Helmholz has been an active contributor to ISPRS for more than two decades, serving in multiple leadership roles including organiser of the 2024 ISPRS TC IV Symposium and Gi4DM, and as Chair or Co Chair of Working Groups across Commissions I, II, and IV. From 2018 to 2022, she was the National Chair of the Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry Committee of Australia’s peak professional body, the Surveying and Spatial Sciences Institute.
She is an Associate Professor in Photogrammetry within the School of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Curtin University. Her expertise spans photogrammetry, remote sensing, and 3D modelling, with a strong interdisciplinary focus linking spatial sciences and allied health. Her research advances imaging based methods to support diagnostics and clinical assessment, and she leads or co leads major applied initiatives including the SMAAT and Cliniface projects.
Dr Helmholz holds a Dipl.-Ing. in Surveying from TU Berlin and a Dr.-Ing. in Photogrammetry from the Leibniz University Hannover. Before joining Curtin in 2012, she worked with the CRC for Spatial Information at the University of Melbourne.
Further research collaborations include a visit to the University of Calgary. Her contributions have been recognised through the Australian Education Excellence Award (2019) and as a finalist in the Premier’s Science Awards (2020).

Rachel Greenwood is the Chief Executive Officer of Locus Alliance, bringing together Australia’s surveying and geospatial professionals under one trusted, member-led national body.
With extensive experience in professional governance, education, workforce development and industry advocacy, Rachel leads strategic initiatives that strengthen skills pathways, national collaboration and regulatory engagement across the surveying industry.
She has championed major professional development programs, state-based and national publications and cross-jurisdiction partnerships supporting the future of surveying and spatial sciences.
As a member of the Local Organising Committee for the ISPRS Congress 2029/2030 bid, Rachel brings strong stakeholder networks, event leadership experience and a proven track record delivering large-scale professional initiatives.
